Sourcing practices
Our commitment to sustainability and traceability is at the heart of our sourcing practices. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that our seafood is sourced responsibly and sustainably. We maintain strong connections with suppliers in Europe, however, we primarily source directly from Alaska, having the strongest connections there.
Processing methods & quality control
Welmar Seafood ensures that our products are processed with the highest standards of quality and food safety. The processing facilities we collaborate with in China, Thailand, and the Netherlands are equipped to guarantee the best possible product. We implement strict quality control measures, including IFS certification, to ensure that our seafood meets the standards of hygiene and food safety.
